Nice, clean room. Friendly staff and decent breakfast.
It's quite a walk from the Termini if you don't come from the airport. The airport platform is only a 10 minute walk though.
A reasonable budget hotel
It's not 5 minutes walk from metro station. You need at least 10 (depending how fast you walk).
The hotel is small, with standard facilities. It's well-maintained and clean. Staff is friendly and ready to assist you with all your questions about the hotel or the city. It's located near the central train station of Rome (Termini), walking distance (but not with heavy suitcases), but can also be reached by tramway or bus and vice versa. The Termini station can easily be reached from the main attractions in the center and from the airport, so it's a good location for a city trip. Simple breakfast but with plenty of good coffee (and tea).
Breakfast was included in the price of the room but offered only sweet things, no cheese i.e.. But with plenty of good coffee, who cares? Streets around the hotel are noisy so sleeping with an open window can be a problem, but as almost every street in Rome is noisy, this would be a problem in most hotels. There is airconditioning in the room so it wouldn't be necessary anyway to sleep with an open window. Wi-Fi is offered but only in the lobby and paid.
Very clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Small and friendly 'boutique' style hotel.
Breakfast was very basic. Advertised as internet available in all rooms but this was not so. Road noise was a problem in my room, others may have been quiet.
location, lack of internet in room7cost in lobby, bed, linens
Very clean hotel, attentive staff. Location: not far from Termini station: 10-15 minutes walk, unfortunately it is not very comfortable with a roll-aboard suitcase (relief sidewalk). But : from here You can go on foot to the Colosseum, Capitol, and other places of interest! Room 303 was very nice, with balcony (two chairs, table, flowers on it). View from balcony will let You see everyday life of Italians.
Everything was OK, but I would like to get just a little richer breakfast, not just sweet food.
Excellent staff 24/7, friendly, competent, helpful; the room-is a small, but adequate surface on all necessary things, moreover very clean, excellent aircondition, in the room are all necessary things, i.e.: towels, cosmetics, refrigerator, safety deposit box, wardrobe with hangers, shower, comfortable beds, large window with a very good wrap (protecting from the sun in the morning); in addition, excellent location-2 minutes to tram and bus, 10 minutes to termini station, walking distance to coloseum
in the morning a little too noisy in rooms from street
The best thing about this hotel was the Satellite television they offered. There were many English channels and programs to choose from for English speaking travellers. The staff was also very nice and helpful and offered adive on seeing the city. The bathroom was a very good size for a European hotel with a good sized shower, upgraded and very clean. The room was very clean in general. Collosseum was walking distance - about 15 mintues - which was nice. It had a small fridge but it only cooled a little. It had a good size elevator.
The bed was uncomfortable and squeeked. The location was not good. I did not feel safe walking at night. It is close to a metro stop though, which takes you to all the important places. But if you really want to experience Rome I would stay closer to the main attractions. The Stazione Termini area is a little grungy. Also, I didn't like that wifi was only available in the Lobby. Towels were also paper thin and felt more like tablecloths. But for the price, not that bad.
Clean and spacious room, great location and helpful staff... Majority understood and spoke english!
Breakfast ended pretty early, and check out was also pretty early.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The contnental breakfast was good. The location was very handy for the train station and not too far to walk to reach the coloseum, and the price was reasonable. All in all a good hotel for a reasonable price.
GOOOOOD HOTEL VERY CLEEN METRO BUS NEAR LOVLEY SERVISE THE BEST HOTEL FOR NONE
It is unfortunate hotels are obliged to collect a 'guest tax' on behalf of the Italian government, but it's not a choice for them as they are mandated by law to do this. I mention this as I heard a guest arguing at the desk re this thorny matter and felt annoyed to see front desk people in hotels bear the brunt of what their political masters have decided. That aside, it is rude to blame hotel staff. The astonishingly friendly owner Allesandro and his lovely staff were gracious and kind and seem to have a fondness for Irish guests! Terrific night Manager Bouchaid possesses a wealth of knowledge on the city and helped me enormously by directing me to some unique and unusual places, and told me where I might find a particularly difficult glass design I wanted to track down and buy, and unbelievably I found it and bought it. What a treasure this man is for guests who land in this city for the first time. The hotel itself is a warm, inviting and lovely place to spend time at. I cannot stress too much how immaculately clean this hotel is, with a beautiful breakfast set up every morning for guests. On the strength of knowing before I arrived that the internet was available in the lobby only, I decided not to take my laptop with me. Then I saw people sitting around chatting and working on theirs and realised my mistake. Upon my return to Roma in a few months I will happily stay at this delightful hotel. Many thanks.
